New-Build Hotel Opens in Midtown Manhattan

The tech-savvy property overlooks the city’s Bryant Park.

The Park Terrace Hotel opened late last year overlooking Manhattan’s Bryant Park. The 226-room new-build hotel is within a few steps of the landmarked New York Public Library and Grand Central Terminal.

Most rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows and have views of the park or the Empire State Building. Interiors feature a nature-inspired palette and were designed by Stonehill & Taylor. Rooms have smart TVs and Bluetooth speakers and can be accessed using the Park Terrace mobile app. Currently, room service is provided by nearby restaurants but an all-day dining establishment, La Pecora Bianca, will open this summer.

There is a total of 3,000 square feet of meeting space including two conference rooms, Stacks I and Stacks II, named for the nearby library; these can be combined to accommodate up to 100 attendees. Ivy and Hyacinth, two intimate meeting rooms, can host six people each and are located next to the sixth-floor Terrazzo Lounge and terrace which serves a breakfast buffet and evening cocktails and small plates. Outdoor yoga classes on the terrace are available when weather permits. Other amenities include a fitness center and sauna.
