Luxury Atlanta Hotel Rebrands

Atlanta’s upscale Buckhead neighborhood is now home to a Waldorf Astoria.

The Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead opened this week in an iconic Robert A. M. Stern-designed building in Atlanta’s most prestigious neighborhood. Formerly the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta, the hotel has 127 guest rooms, 10 suites, and 47 private residences, offering personal concierge services to all guests and residents.

Amenities include a 15,000-square-foot spa, an indoor pool with a private garden, fitness center, and yoga studio. The property is within walking distance of Buckhead’s renowned shopping and restaurant district.

Meeting space comprises five conference rooms, a 390-square-foot outdoor terrace, and a 1,960-square-foot ballroom which can host up to 200 attendees. The hotel has a full-service restaurant, the Café & Bar, and is 19 miles from Hartsfield Jackson International Airport and five miles from DeKalb Peachtree Airport

This is the second Mandarin Oriental property to be rebranded as a Waldorf Astoria in the U.S. this year. The 389-room Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas became the Waldorf Astoria Hotel & Residences Las Vegas in August. Both properties are expected to undergo renovations in the near future.
