Anaheim Convention Center to Get Adjacent Hotel

The Westin Anaheim has almost 50,000 square feet of meeting space and views of Disney’s nightly fireworks show.

Originally slated to open in 2019, the new Westin Anaheim Resort will now debut in October, adjacent to the recently expanded Anaheim Convention Center.

The new-build hotel offers 618 guest rooms and suites and 47,542 square feet of meeting and event space across 23 flexible venues. The property’s two largest spaces are the 16,100-square-foot Annabelle Ballroom which has more than 3,000 square feet of prefunction space, and the smaller  Carousel Ballroom. A 3,500-square-foot rooftop terrace is designed for up to 200 guests and has views of the nightly fireworks at Disneyland.

Seven restaurants will debut with the hotel, including Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, and Puesto, offering authentic Mexican cuisine. The hotel’s signature restaurant, the Tangerine Room, will serve California inspired dishes and RISE Rooftop Bar offers tapas and cocktails. Other amenities include an outdoor pool and a 3,600-square-foot fitness center.

Westin Anaheim Resort is steps from ACC North, the new 200,000-square foot expansion to the Anaheim Convention Center, and opposite the Disney California Adventure Park, featuring the new Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge exhibit. The hotel is also close to Angel Stadium and the Honda Center, and 20 minutes from John Wayne Airport.
