THE LATEST:
  • BI Worldwide has another Emmy Award on its shelf. The company on it last fall for a product launch video, created for a large pharmaceutical client, which helps sales representatives connect with the life-saving benefits of a new drug. Previously, the company earned an Emmy for a film promoting AIDS awareness in America. Other honors for the company over the past year include five national Telly Awards for short client films, and an Above and Beyond award for support of the National Guard and Reserve from the Department of Defense.
  • The company has reorganized into three dedicated verticals: meetings, automotive, and incentives. Rodney Provart will lead the meetings team; Claudia Nixon is heading up automotive, andresponsibility for the incentives vertical will be shared between Patty Karsten (incentive design) and Kate Sorenson (incentive delivery).
  • BIW strengthened it capabilities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific market with its fall 2015 investment in The Veritas Group. The move gave BIW a controlling interest in the Sydney-based event management organization.
  • New to the company's product list is Passion Pursuit, a "bucket-list travel and merchandise experience" that aligns an incentive reward with an individual's unique interests.
  • Over the past year, the company opened new offices in Bogota, Colombia, and Mexico City.
