VISIT FLORIDA, the state's official tourism marketing company, is stepping up its marketing campaign to help dispel misperceptions about next summer's hurricane season. A key element of the program is its Weather Warranty, which targets meeting planners. This supplemental business insurance will provide coverage for meetings held from August through October 2005, and include reimbursement of costs related to rebooking a meeting that is displaced due to a named hurricane.
