The 839-room Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand, recently debuted its 174-room Krungthep Wing's refurbishment. The rooms feature private balconies with views of the Chao Phraya River and the hotel's extensive gardens. The 16-story wing has its own entrance, lobby, and reception area, as well as restaurants, swimming pool, and Jacuzzi. The hotel has 23 function rooms, including a grand ballroom that can seat 1,600 people theater-style or 1,000 banquet-style.
