On March 24, Delta Air Lines joined the other major U.S. carriers in cutting back on some of its scheduled routes. It announced it will cut 12 percent of its flights, starting March 27 for U.S. flights and April 6 for flights to Europe. Depending on demand, the flights may be reinstated in May.
