Software for Events that Drive Revenue

Event marketing software company Event Farm has acquired Boston-based event software company Attend. According to a release, the companies join forces with the “aligned vision that business events must be attributable, show ROI, and receive the credit they deserve.”

In other words, both companies want events to be seen not as cost centers but as “a significant channel to drive business results,” said Matt Engel, former CEO of Attend and now Event Farm shareholder. Pre-merger, the two companies offered similar services, from event invitations and registration to integrations with customer relationship management platforms, to followup surveys and analytics.

The combined company, according to the release, will create “a roadmap that builds on the best elements and functionality of the two platforms, including advanced reporting and dashboards, a suite of integrations, and a best-in-class mobile app experience.”

In addition to its offices in Washington, D.C., and Santa Monica, Calif., the acquisition will expand Event Farm’s presence with a Boston office.
