UK tightening pharma-physician rules

According to BBC News, the Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry has updated its code of practice to limit gifts to physicians, from eliminating promotional competitions and quizzes to limiting air travel for sponsored delegates at meetings to economy class. And it has about the same bite as the PhRMA Code did before it started getting backing by the OIG and the State of California:

    Companies that breach the code can be named and shamed, the ABPI said.
