Time to submit abstracts for next year's Alliance meeting

Boy, I no sooner got off the phone with MM's editor Tamar Hosansky about which of the gazillions of great-sounding sessions to go to next week at the Alliance for CME conference in San Francisco when I got a notice that the Alliance is already looking for next year's speakers.

The theme for the 2006 meeting is "The third wave of CME: Our place in systems thinking." Hmm, not sure exactly what that's supposed to mean, but check out the Call for Abstracts for more details and submission instructions. If you have any ideas, send in your educational abstract to the Alliance before 5 p.m. on Feb. 25 via an e-mail to Diane Baker.

The conference will be held at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside. While it's been renovated since the last time I stayed there, it's a great hotel that's right in the middle of all the Big Easy fun, including a quick walk to Bourbon St.
