Should alternative medicine be taught?

While this discussion focuses mainly on whether medical schools should teach about alternative medicine, the questions raised also apply to continuing education. I can see a legitimate need for teaching about what works and what doesn't, how some alternative approaches can interact with traditional meds, and all that, but I can see how many would object. Anyway, it's an interesting dialogue.

Thanks to Medpundit for the pointer!
