Free stuff

If you're looking for images, music, or other items that often are copyrighted and not free for use in a public forum (like your meeting), look into Creative Commons, an organization that "provides free tools that let authors, scientists, artists, and educators easily mark their creative work with the freedoms they want it to carry." Some let you use whatever the work is for free, others let you take the original work and build on it to make something new. It's all good.

Thanks to Jim Spellos of Meeting U and his fabulous e-newsletter for the reminder about CC. Also in this month's edition was an item about PhoneMyPhone, which will call your number at a pre-appointed time to give you an excuse to get out of a bad date, long meeting, or whatever. Sneaky, sneaky, sneaky.
