Raging wildfires in southern California caused the Convention Industry Council to postpone its October 29th Council of Delegates meeting at La Costa Resort & Spa. The resort, located west of the fires, is not in imminent danger from the flames. However, CIC officials thought it wise to reschedule the meeting so their members are not in the way of people who need to evacuate the area.
