Welcome!

Michael Toney, vice president of sales at the Golden Nugget, welcomed attendees to his property and to the 19th Annual Las Vegas Corporate Invitational Destination Showcase.

Time Out for Learning

Education was on the agenda to start Day 1 of the Corporate Invitational.

Greetings from MeetingsNet

MeetingsNet’s Lisa Perrin is the mastermind behind the Invitational, a showcase of all things Las Vegas.

Menu of Trends

Patti J. Shock, academic consultant to the International School of Hospitality in Las Vegas and professor emeritus at UNLV, led a session on food trends, noting the sharp rise in guest requests for healthier dishes and a growing passion for ethnic and regional cuisines.

Sharing Ideas

Sarah Buchbinder, Meetings Made Easy, joins the discussion during the education sessions.

All Things Entertaining

Matthew Gucu, founder of Las Vegas-based New Moon Entertainment and ILEA Las Vegas vice president of communications, talked about entertainment trends. Among other tips: Remember the ever-shortening attention span of guests and consider hiring acts for briefer performances.

Thank You!

The Las Vegas Corporate Invitational Destination Showcase is sponsored by an amazing array of top-notch Las Vegas suppliers.

Fremont Street Experience

To cap off the first day of the Las Vegas Corporate Invitational Destination Showcase, the group gathered for a private reception on the pedestrian promenade of Freemont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, hosted by Golden Nugget and Fremont Street Experience.
