AT A GLANCE: M&I exists to provide peace of mind through the journey of connecting people. M&I’s new purpose statement really gets to the heart of the company and owners in one sentence. When the statement was being formulated, we realized our business is about “connecting people” whether through live or virtual methods. We asked our employees what makes them so passionate about our business and they remarked that it was because they wanted to provide “peace of mind” to our clients and attendees by making sure every program detail is handled so they (clients/attendees) can concentrate on the event content and connecting with each other.
In the past year, M&I has increased staff by more than 15% to keep up with growth from new and existing clients. Targeted talent hires in key middle management positions and reorganization within the operations department provide a solid foundation for growth within global corporate meetings, a renewed focus on incentive programs, and the addition of full service association management. M&I continues to leverage SMM best practices, introduce innovative technology platforms, enhance the client experience, and generate cost savings above industry averages. M&I is able to provide total support for an organization’s global meeting needs or complement internal efforts with a specific solution.
In 2010, Travelocity Business named M&I its official strategic meetings management partner. The partnership combines the strength of two globally recognized companies to provide innovative, end-to-end travel and meeting solutions.
