US Airways Reduces Capacity 6 Percent

On March 27, US Airways announced it would reduce its transatlantic and domestic schedules by 6 percent due to decreased demand since the war began. The airline had already reduced its capacity by 28 percent since September 11, 2001.

London- Pittsburgh and London-Philadelphia flights will be suspended for the month of April. Service between Pittsburgh and Frankfurt also will be affected on certain days, as will the Philadelphia-Amsterdam route.
