Luxury Resort Looks on the Sunny Side

Most luxury resorts pray for good weather because it attracts travellers. But one luxury resort will wish for good weather for another reason: Solar energy will be one of its sources of electricity.

The former El Monte Lodge in Taos, N.M., is being renovated to become an environmentally friendly eco-resort and travel destination.

The lodge was purchased in 1997 by Dharma Holdings Inc., which wants to use the new facility as a prototype and showcase for sustainable living.
