Impact of the War on Business Travel

John Russell, chief executive officer, Hospitality Artists LLC, and partner, Yesawich, Pepperdine, Brown & Russell, spoke at the Massachusetts Governor's Conference on Travel & Tourism in Boston today about the results of an online survey YPB&R did of business and leisure travelers from March 24 to 26. Of the 651 business travelers surveyed, 9 percent said they had canceled business trips because of the Gulf War, but 72 percent said the war would not influence their travel plan
