BTC Survey Notes Changing Response to SARS

The Business Travel Coalition compared the results of two surveys of corporate travel managers regarding the effects of the severe acute respiratory syndrome. The first survey was conducted March 30 and 31, the second April 6 and 7.

Corporations banning travel to certain Asian destinations jumped from 24 percent to 58 percent during the one-week period between surveys. Other findings: Companies taking no action dropped from 24 percent to 7 percent, and those just providing advisories
