Sanofi-aventis Layoffs Include Meetings Department

Among the 1,700 employees laid off from Sanofi-aventis pharmaceutical company in late November were those who work in the company’s meeting planning department, according to several reports from Medical Meetings’ sources. These sources also report that a third-party meeting management company has been named to manage some of the company’s meetings.
