The Oaklander Hotel, part of Marriott Hotels’ Autograph Collection, is set to open in Pittsburgh in February. The four-star hotel has 167 guest rooms and is located next to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum as well as the University of Pittsburgh in the city’s Oakland neighborhood, east of downtown. There is almost 3,300 square feet of meeting space situated on the tenth floor with sweeping city views, and an additional private dining venue, The George.
The 2,000-square-foot Cathedral Room can accommodate up to 330 guests for a reception or be divided into two rooms, Charles and William, each for events of up to 160 attendees. Two 486-square-foot breakout rooms share an adjacent 368-square-foot prefunction space.
Amenities include Spirits and Tales, an American brasserie, and a 24-hour fitness center.
The hotel is 22 miles from Pittsburgh International Airport.
