THE LATEST:
  • In January, SDI was acquired by SmithBucklin, an association management and services company with headquarters in Chicago and Washington, D.C. The new relationship is a boon for clients, says SDI President Scott Dillion because of the relationships and services they bring to the table. SmithBucklin, founded in 1949, provides clients with conference design, exhibit management, registration, logistics management, and a variety of other services.
  • SDI has relocated its 14-person Chicago staff to its new owner's offices at 330 N. Wabash.
