THE LATEST:
  • Parent company Omega World Travel, with a total of 540 employees, has moved its Meetings & Incentives division into its Fairfax, Va., headquarters, with the intent to grow the department.
  • OWT built a proprietary data analytics tool in 2015, called Omegalytics, that helps clients answer questions about spend and savings, run hypothetical changes to an air program to gauge financial impacts, analyze trends, track travelers, and more. OWT, which owns Cruise.com, one of the largest sellers of cruises on the Internet, is partnering with cruise lines to provide quality meetings and incentives at sea.
