THE LATEST:
  • This summer, Fox merged its three brands — Fox Premier Meetings and Incentives, Fox Business Travel, and Fox Leisure/Select — under the Fox World Travel name. Operational changes are not planned for the divisions.
  • Over the past year, the company began using the Cvent E nterprise System, improving its meeting management and reporting capabilities, and the Cvent Supplier Network sourcing engine. The technology has allowed the Fox meeting group to move to 100 percent electronicprocesses, which they say has made work flow more consistent across the team and has improved collaboration and communication.
  • In January, Fox World Travel hired Michael Heck, a 30-year airline industry veteran, as director of supplier solutions, and in May the company brought on former World Travel executive Michael Farrell as vice president, client solutions and event strategy.
