THE LATEST:
  • ALTOUR Meetings & Incentives continues to broaden its SMM success, launching enterprise-wide solutions that have fully managed spend and measured savings for multiple major accounts this year. The resulting growth has prompted an infrastructure expansion, as well as additions to the ALTOUR M&I staff in Minneapolis. Kim Holste, who joined the company in 2015, was promoted to senior director of meeting operations in April.
  • ALTOUR M&I added a major convenience store conference for 8,500 attendees to its portfolio this year, as well as other high-profile clients in the beverage, insurance, HVAC, and IT industries.
  • ALTOUR M&I’s parent company, ALTOUR International, a New York–based, privately held travel management company, acquired A&I Travel in 2015 and Milne Travel in March. The acquisitions now extend the reach of its meeting and incentive services into Tennessee and New Jersey. 
  • Parent company ALTOUR International, named to Travel Weekly’s 2016 Power List, provides ALTOUR M&I clients access to $2.5 billion in leveraged buying power.
