AT A GLANCE: This year MotivAction launched a new cloud-based incentive and recognition platform called Encore that allows employees and managers to send recognition notes, track milestones, submit ideas, nominate top achievers for awards, and more. In April, the company formalized a partnership with ADP, the benefits administration and payroll services giant, giving ADP customers access to Encore.

MotivAction opened offices in Las Vegas; Basking Ridge, N.J.; and Dayton, Ohio, this year, complementing locations in Minneapolis, Chicago, Oklahoma City, and San Diego. The company took home a Gala Award for “Best Multiple-Day Incentive Event” from Special Events magazine (a MeetingsNet sister publication). The event took 25 North American dealers from a major manufacturing company to Ireland, with highlights that included golf at the famous K-Club, a visit to Ballyknocken Cookery School, and a "So You Think You Know Your Drink" tour at the Old Jameson Distillery.
