Bravo to Nobel Peace Prize Winners: May the Meetings Industry Be As Brave

How far have we come as women in the meetings industry?

In an industry with such a large percentage of women—and caring men, too—I can hear the loud cheers for the two 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winners.

First, from Pakistan, is Malala Yousafzal, who was shot in 2012 at age 15 by the Taliban because of her stand on the right of girls to education. She recovered and continues her mission with fervor and passion. And from India is Kailash Satyarthi, who fought against child slavery in India and liberated 75,000 children.
