Extending the lesson

Christopher Perez of CME Outfitters, LLC, who used to work with Medical Meetings' publisher Primedia at its Interactive Medical Networks division, recently e-mailed me about some of the things his med-ed company is doing. One innovative thing they're doing is providing additional value and keeping the lessons learned at the CME activities they produce at the forefront of participants' minds is an html e-newsletter called psycheCME Extra (click here for an example).

The newsletter not only serves as a reminder, but also re-engages participants with the content with interactive surveys and audio clips of experts discussing the topic. And it gives them a way to see what else is scheduled in their field, and a link to download course materials.

Why isn't everyone doing this?
